Hm… that is true, unfortunately Cyberspace is often times a place where the painfully shy take out there pain on others and often act like drunk people at parties. This of course is not a generalization. Just a perspective. It’s amazing that so much conflict goes on in a discussion group about loneliness. That people could fight here. Why what’s the point. If you disagree, agree that you have different perspectives, if you’re figthing each other, take it private. I’m a veteran of flame wars from other groups, like technical ones or fandom lists. I was kinda thrown off by the whole flame war irony on a group devoted to loneliness. I would prefer to be lonely then argue with a bunch of cyber villians. Please take note that Cyberspace is a place where everybody, shy or open can sit back and have great discussions and great relationships, where many of the stress’s of RL can be avoided. Cyberspace should be a neutral zone. Cyberspace should be a home with people in far off lands chatting away with you. I’ve kinda ducked and dodged being on this group cause it saddened me and made me even more lonely to see my friends going back at each other. So there’s a new sheriff in town. There are gonna be some changes. Pablo is back folks… No more arguing please. Carolyn I just saw your email and figured I’d post here, no slam or anything. Any technique that allows the shy to be more outgoing is cool to me. I don’t know how many cool people are left in the world to not wanna be shy to meet, but you never know. Pablo, who has come back from a rough tour of RL and would like to relax, with his new apartment, new friends and his new motorcycle.
