the millenium comes
Question:
Now the holiday season is over I must return to the barrenness of my 9 – 5. I will post no more from the "while no-one is about" series but when things calm down a little I might dig up a few sonnets to tide us over after the post Christmas blues. I hope all went well with your young ones. I can only imagine your face aching after they brought a continual smile to your face. Take care for now. Paul

Paul, You have not misused I actually revel when another builds something from my words, twas as in the poetry group so many we posted by just linking souls from each other’s words either born of pain or happiness of the moment.. From yours.. Yeah though sometimes the valley of living floods with internal darkness And the daylight falls to black pitch born of endless lonely nightfall’s There is light that some come seeking into this place called alt.support.loneliness Tis when the embers of their soul cries, "no more pain can I sustain!" For want of a shoulder to cry or wail upon when none are there in the *real day to day* Human we are each and every one, lights that flicker and sometimes fade Man is a gift, given to mankind in reality, singular but bound spiritually as one For it is within each of us to shine a light to the other when we are internally fading The darkness is not so very lonely when their is but one to feel and take your pain And like a beacon, we bring our light back into our life again, human reflection sustaining us all Thank you Pamela "Paul" <pdev…@anthrona.co.uk> wrote in message

Your words inspire. To say thank you is not enough so instead I hold up a mirror and offer you their reflection. See how beautiful they are to those of us who wait by those lonely shores watching. TO WHAT HAS COME AND GONE AND WHAT REMAINS To that woman now lost I bid thee stay awhile and rest. Hear the harmony of those lost souls that join you in that echo of lonely longing. Feel their hearts and hopes linking with yours. Here in the wilderness the lonely wind calls It welcomes all in ASL. As does this soul to an aching heart. Allow that bitter sweet melody of ASL to bathe and cleanse you. That external mask we wear weighs heavy with lonely. The path is long and cold but here in the clearing look, We have built a small fire of hope. It welcomes all in ASL. As does this soul to an aching heart. The millenium comes and goes but that fire remains. It is the flames of friendship that cannot be put out. It is a spirit given life by all the pain and yearning of lonely By our small fire it beckons Look it welcomes all As does ASL to all aching hearts. To that woman lost; perhaps for awhile we can all be lost together. To my friend Pamela … remember; don’t drop anchor, not yet. and I am sorry if I have misused your "millenium comes" it was so beautiful. Paul

Tonight as the Millennium shall pass I walk again within the path of my mind Each moment echoes of another lost moment of time Seasons have passed, seeds are sewn Misshapen memories found still haunting Yet, I have lived here in the echo of lonely longing Shards of feeling of other spirit’s passing Yet this or these spirits shall never reach me This feeling shattering me internally Remaining as always, empty and lonely Encased in filaments externally webbed lost internally Here, I am almost real, other’s reach to me I feel your hearts linked with mine Spirits ever touching, each day of our lives Globally so many in my mind intertwined No purpose have I, no more guidance Has thou left me God for I feel empty Remembering a time when my spirit roamed free Now encapsulated and weighed heavy with lonely A touch of a soul to an aching heart Breath of a shadow unseen Yet in the wind it calls to me Is my fate cast now in stone Forever locked in lonely, the millennium comes Is this my destiny, God I pray not Fate Accepted Of A Woman now lost.
