Loneliness: desiring human contact but being unable or unwilling to do what it takes to obtain it. — TJ *** Email replies use: TJHOOVER -at- BIGFOOT -dot- COM

Confusion, pain, depression, anonymity, unloved, sadness, fear, deprived.  I agree with Bonnie, its like you don’t exist and sometimes to the point that you wish you didn’t. Confused "GoldNb0y19" <goldnb0…@aol.com> wrote in message

Hello ‘D’. I wrote this poem a long time ago, as a lonely teenager.  It is about the isolation of the human condition.  The fact that we are all locked inside our own bodies, limited by our own experience and understanding which colours our perceptions.  To me there is a loneliness about being human, being god of our own existence; a feeling of having lost a sense of communion with other beings…. The Loneliness of ‘Man’ In a warmth that’s life and all I know, ‘I AM’ alone – so lonely – yearning – aching for a friend to ‘know’ me – fill the void for ever with their presence. Take away the emptiness – vast cavity of longing where I cry alone; and waiting, sigh so wearily – with loss of hope – so desolate – and worst of all – knowing that there’s no escape. Trish — ************ A toast to life …. Cheers! I’ll drink to that Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

That pretty much sums it up.  Inner isolation. Even when you have human contact there is sometimes an emptiness. The fear of knowing that you are ultimately alone and always will be. Stephen. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->– >TJ >*** Email replies use: TJHOOVER -at- BIGFOOT -dot- COM

Loneliness is being in a room full of people whom you know, and who know you, and still having very few people come up to talk to you, even just to ask how you’re doing. GoldNb0y19 <goldnb0…@aol.com> wrote in message

It’s the feeling that you don’t fit in, you never did, yet you may not really want to either for your unique.. you don’t conform to other’s standards, no one lives your life and sometimes you feel like no one either cares about your trials and tribulations or you can’t or have no one to share them with, you live by your own internal morals and guidelines, maybe you feel like you should not have born in this generation.. you stand alone always and there is rare that you can find a shoulder to cry in the moments of deepest agony for in your strength their is none strong enough to sustain your crashing or their is none that will let you crash without holding it against you..when you know tomorrow is your destiny but you have to find away to let go of yesterday to get there in reality, or when your locked in something born of yesterday and your still sorting and configuring.. it’s the feeling of sometimes empty void of total aloneness.. it’s a feeling of being misunderstood, it’s an awareness of simply thinking.. I was born alone and I shall die alone.. it’s self isolation, it can become disparity and depression.. it’s the missing link in life or the inability to control the bodies failings. sudden illness, lifestyle changes, alternate lifestyles, loner children, it’s grief over a person, place or thing, sometimes it’s having no base to call home, the confusion of the mind.. the coming home to a dark and empty home at night.. the room where you watch other’s, yet you feel no one sees you sometimes.. it’s the wall that surrounds us and keeps us lonely forever in life.. it’s sometimes quiet even when noise surrounds you echoing in reality.. its loneliness.. it’s knowing you have a missing something in life and wondering if you’ll ever even find it.. and… that was just a rant born of my own head.. not to be all of the many flavors of loneliness.. Having everything…but still missing something.   Having friends and family…but still feeling unloved.   Feeling very alone in the world….and nobody understands, not even yourself.   Searching….always searching, but not knowing what you’re searching for.  Looking back and wondering, "what was it all for ?"  Looking forward and wondering, "is this all there is?" Well…that’s my definition.   If you’ve never felt loneliness, then consider yourself to be very blessed.   There are many, many kinds of loneliness…and many, many causes.  I hope you never know the feeling. Loneliness is incredible sadness.  It’s feeling that you don’t fit in anywhere, with anyone.  It’s a feeling that you are inadequate, that you mean nothing to anybody.  It’s like knowing that you could drop off the face of the earth, and no one would even notice you were gone.  It’s even worse if you were important to someone, and then lost your place in his or her life.  You don’t see a point in doing anything, because no one will care. At least, that’s what it is for me.  I’m sorry if I depressed anyone, but that’s how I feel. GoldNb0y19 <goldnb0…@aol.com> wrote in message
