angels and heaven

I know what that’s like – I grew up in the country, where the closest town was only a few hundred people. As a result, everyone knew everyone and it was expected that you’d greet people, stop and chat even, if you met them in the street. Of course, it had its downside, since you couldn’t blow your nose without it being public knowledge, and if you were a bit different, you were made to feel it. A lot of time, I actually like the anonymity of a larger town, it gives me greater freedom to create my own identity but there is this cost – alienation from my neighbours. I’m glad when someone like you smiles at me or says hello – makes me smile at the next ten people i meet in the street, till I see how they’re consciously not seeing me. > My grandparents pointed the fact out to me that when they were >younger everyone in a street knew each other becasue they took time out to care >and make friends. Now everyone is to obsessed with money and working to stop >and look at what is passing them by.
I don’t know if its obsession so much as fear and cultural forces – the industrial and technological revolutions were supposed to decrease the burden of work on people, give us time for leisure but instead those who have jobs have to work so much harder/give so much more of their souls to meet the demands of increased "productivity" and competitiveness that they become alienated from themselves. The older I get, the more I think Marx was on the money. >Argh sorry im going on and on again.
Not at all, Lytegal – as far as I’m concerned, this is one place you can talk to your heart’s content. Hope your Xmas was OK and have a happy New Year. barry

I hadn’t given it any thought but, you know what, I rather think they do. They’ll be sitting wherever they are, looking down on us and thinking "oh, the humanity" as they see all the loneliness, the people made to feel wierd, the wars, the violence, the deceit, the environmental destruction here on earth. >Do they nest in the clouds in the sky? Pass >I wonder is heaven fair?
There wouldn’t be much point in a heaven that wasn’t fair. I wish i could still believe in a heaven. >Will I be free to love whoever I care?
Probably not – society has bounds (on religious, racial, age and gender lines), and if you cross them, then it will express disapproval. So, you may not see your choice as "free", but that’s not to say you shouldn’t love whoever you want. >Is it against the rules to love somebody to death?
Yep – if you mean you love someone so extremely that it results in their death (grin). Obviously, loving someone for the entirety of their life, now that’s different and to be encouraged. >What’ll I do if heres no room left?
???? You’ve lost me, matey. >Does a soul return from where it came?
My take – your soul inhabits your body for the term of your life, at the expiry of which, it is joined up with a collective consciousness in a non-physical (or super-natural if you like) dimension. Some call this dimension "God" – basically, to me, everything that is inexplicable to us as humans has its source in this dimension – esp, "miracles", fortune telling, levitation, sixth senses, past lives. It doesn’t work along human rules, so much of the doings of this dimension just aren’t that comprhensible to us – it is less coherently "good" or certain than those who believe in God believe He is, much more random. And yes, it is from this source that souls return to earth as each baby is born – maybe not exactly the same complete soul as the one who left. Its more like soup – as you put each ingredient in, they merge with the others. As a result, a spoonful of carrot becomes a spoonful of a whole lot of things. >Will my God even remember my name?
Pass – my personal belief about "God" is that He is a projection from the individual, so that if you believe that God is someone who will remember your name, He will. Just my 2 cents (and given the state of the New Zealand dollar, that aint worth a hill of beans!). Good luck in your quest for answers. barry

And I agree in many ways Leolee However, is it more right to condemn us, put us down, make us feel defensive as some have made you feel.. or will it change things if you help us to understand and then change born of those cultures you speak of? Your point is understood.. I’m an American.. I value what you say when you speak to me as an equal, I know my country is screwed up.. I seek healing.. not continued destruction of what my own society has condemned us to.. be my friend.. I’ll be yours.. talk to me.. I’ll talk to you and I will show you respect that you are due.. deal? hugs.. from someone who doesn’t even understand gesture games.. they are born of a foreign society that is kinda supposed to be native to me.. Hi Ash It came to me last night what you mean, I think – just about not fitting in, finding an ash-sized space, yes? Know exactly what that’s like – New Year’s has got me down a bit, ‘cos once again, I’m on my own, no invites to do anything with anyone, having to yet again construct an interesting evening out of nothing. I’m hoping it will be a good one tonight and that you have a decent new Year’s too. >>Just my 2 cents (and given the state of the New Zealand dollar, that >>aint worth a hill of beans!). >You’ve lost me now with that barry.

I like the mirror concept.. to find another to not only take the light from within, but to find one who can shine it back again.. and in this the light grows stronger for all that become part of the glow of it.. much like my grandparents.. from their light I learned to glow, tis few like them left in the world and people are to fixated on self achievement and less on simply touching each other’s souls with a simple hello and a word of praise for the other in some way.. I still wish I could go back to the days of the card parties and gatherings from way back then.. maybe that’s why I like New Years.. we sit and talk and tease and it’s real emotion shared as families.. Racism is pure politic. Racism has nothing to do with prejudice or spiritality. Just because you only care about your own race does not mean you are a racist. > >I don’t want to be part of modern culture > >if love is replaced by prejudice and hatred for other souls > I hate the way our culture is today, maybe thats why im lonely. > I hate the way if you walk down the street and smile or say morning to someone > you don’t know, they think your’e weird when all you are trying to do is be > friendly.
In native culture, saying hello to stranger is saying hello to your family. It’s just the way they are. I hate the way our culture is today, maybe thats why im lonely. I hate the way if you walk down the street and smile or say morning to someone you don’t know, they think your’e weird when all you are trying to do is be friendly. Ancient tribal time was the day when people all around them were conditioned to love one another. They were not specially born with personal gift to love other people but their love was part of their life that was there since the beginning. They didn’t invent love. It was just there that most of modern people of modern culture forgetten that. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> "Lytegal14" <lytega…@aol.com> wrote in message > news:20001225102600.24639.00006886@ng-cd1.aol.com… > > I wonder do angels cry? > > Do they nest in the clouds in the sky? > > I wonder is heaven fair? > > Will I be free to love whoever I care? > > Is it against the rules to love somebody to death? > > What’ll I do if theres no room left? > > Does a soul return from where it came? > > Will my God even remember my name?

Yes, I believe Angels cry tis sobs that echo loudly when tears fill their eyes tis peace on the clouds should they seek rest in this nest yet Angels are not here to find peace but to provide heaven is fair indeed, for it’s love and forgiveness upon which it feeds Not like mankind’s feed in reality Love remains bound soul to soul, tis maybe just one that will completely fill you however if you don’t believe, twill not ever come to be thine reality and the soul you seek will be born of love beyond death and into eternity in reality. Tis a funny thing about heaven though, from what I know.. it grows and grows like love actually tis always room for everybody when one believes and loves another unconditionally like Gods love to us you see.. tis born of loving us unconditionally, even if we fail in reality we but have to reach and he takes us up inside him, deep and warm never to feel alone again I also believe when we are sometimes reborn, for our other is lost to man’s insufficiency to see inside self and so many settle instead of waiting for who is right inside and half of the soul of self as God would say born of another’s rib.. soul mates.. tis a big world.. yet he provides if one believes and has patience and waits and so I do And for the soulmate I hope I wait, otherwise I have no need for a random mate. Fact finality.. that man upstairs knows your name.. even if you hide from fellow man.. he knows you.. he feels your pain.. tis only you who can open self to feel him call you, echoing deep and resilient inside of you.. he knows you and awaits you to know yourself too actually Pamela "Lytegal14" <lytega…@aol.com> wrote in message

I dont know how anyone can stop you from loving whomever you want to love. It is a natural emotion that we experience towards another. They may not love us in return but that doesnt stop us from loving… > >I love the words in this post. > wow critical acclaim
