That’s great isn’t it – to set off in search of one particular thing and get so sidetracked you forgot why you set off.  I can do this all the time in the library – thankfully, I’ve had indulgent lecturers who haven’t been annoyed at work submitted a couple of months late as a result of studying, say, Indian mysticism, when I was just being asked about the use of language by T.S. Eliot. BTW – its not exactly done by everyone – what made you decide that last Thursday was the day to understand the cosmos?  Its really rather cute.  And did you get an answer to your original question – about the amount of matter in the universe? [planetary dust signature story snipped] barry Don’t you want me any more? Don’t you love me any more? ["Lydia" Fur Patrol - there is no cooler New Zealand band.]

I understand.  That kind of annoyance is one of the reasons I don’t post with a real address. Disraeli

Little kids are fun to mess with.  Once, I taught a nephew (who was just learning to speak) what my ‘name’ was.  The payoff came at a family gathering when he stood up, pointed at me and, with great enthusiasm, exclaimed: "genius!". Disraeli

pogonophobia (it was in this dictionary, too). > Do you want my parents to visit – they came to see me in the weekend, > a great incentive to get my house in order first and mow the lawn – > the bit in the centre was several months growth.

Heh.  We never quite grow up in a child/parent relationship, do we? Disraeli

Response:

Toaster, I’ve had that virus emailed to me by Hahaha 3 times. It’s in the attachment called "Snow White." There is no indication as to who Hahaha is, nor that it comes from ASL. As for the virus, Norton Virus Scan warned me of it before I opened the attachment. (I never open attachments from people I don’t know!) As long as the message is deleted and the attachment is not opened, it can’t hurt your computer. With the help of my computer genius of a son, I located information of this virus at  http://vil.nai.com/vil/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=98873 Nick "
