Don, No apology necessary, especially in light of what you’re going through. It often disturbs me to see some of the thoughtless things that are said by some of the rude and ignorant people who wander into this group, and I’m frequently more than a little tempted to respond in anger myself. Those of us who have followed this group and posted here know what a thoughtful and caring person you are, and you’ve only directed your anger at people who are hurting others — an understandable response. You have my sympathy — and the sympathy of everyone else here, I’m sure — as you go through this trying time. My prayers are with you. Knowing you only from your posts I feel that you’ll find the inner strength to pull through this difficult time. I feel that I owe the group an apology and an explanation for my sarcastic responses to some of the posts here. First, I am going through a very trying time. My only son is just days away from dying of cancer and I am struggling to maintain some semblance of self control. I am not normally a person who loses his composure but I can feel it slipping away. I have always tried to help people wherever and whenever I can, but some of the degrading and asinine postings to people who are reaching out for help infuriate me. What a shame that some people are so void of human instincts that their total lives consist of mockery and degradation of the vulnerable. With that said, I must also say that in this newsgroup I have found some of the kindest, caring and most compassionate people it has ever been my privilege to know. Thank you. Don
