ok , all joking aside , this is one of the places i always hoped i could go , i’m a lover of jazz and blues and to walk down Burbon Street could likely be my demise yea , i’m old too .

New Orleans is my second home. My brother and i go there at least twice a year. The very best time is French Quarter Fest in April. It’s already in the upper 80’s, live bands all along Bourbon St, two sound stages at Jackson Park (a smallish park in the French Quarter) and 30 – 50 local restaurants have stands setup so you can listen to great music and picnic in the nawlins sunshine. There’s also the jazz fest but it’s out at the fair grounds where it’s hot, no place to sit and everything costs more. But, you do hear some good jazz. If you decide to go let me know and i’ll post some good places to check out and good places to eat, both cheap and expensive. i hope you are doing okay man. tom

yea , i’m ok , just feeling the blues coming on , no real cause , just the way i drift sometimes , i wish i was in new orleans , i can feel it in my dreams , arm n arm down burbon street , a bottle and my friends and me
