The Hermit
Question:
I don’t think that aloneness and loneliness is the horror it is made out to be. It’s just "life" – in which everyone suffers their own problem(s), and loneliness is just part of it [life's problems] that we’re here to face. What can be just as bad, is being with someone incompatible who doesn’t listen to you, and doesn’t care about how you feel, and only thinks about themself first, over you. Even though you have gone out of your way for them, that person. Even if you have loneliness beat – there will be other problems that come up – that is how life and living is – full of problems. And if you don’t have any? You must be living a boring existence – which anyone would gladly swap their life for. A relationship (that is not working) can be just as bad, or worse than being by yourself. And who wants to be in a relationship that is not working? Harvey

Not me. Having been in one where we nearly killed each other. Well, she nearly destroyed my mind and I had to leave before I nearly destroyed her body. *wistful sigh* So why do I still love her? I would rather be in a relationship that /is/ working, than on my own, and rather be on my own than in a disfunctional relationship. *Wistful sigh again*. Monster — Who stole my sig? Who stole it? Own up, dammit!! It was YOU, wasn’t it?
