I remember a film I think Steve Martin was in it, playing a reluctant father and someone was trying to convince him that having a family is like a rollercoaster ride where although there are fears and uncertainty on the way there is a lot of fun and thrills to be had. Well, some people don’t like rollercoasters and that’s OK. Some people have been put on rollercoasters far too much in their lives and they are just sick and tired of them. They’ve grown out of liking rollercoasters a long time ago. And if you’ve been through some bad experiences with people in the past then people seem to pick up on this and you attract the people that are going to give you the same bad experience. Every ride is a bad one.
