Truganini = Material Girl?

Question:

I just saw the new video for Midnight Oil’s song, ‘Truganini.’ It was also the first time I had heard the song.  Within the first five seconds of the tune, I noticed something sad… How many people think that the riff sounds a lot like an old Madonna song?  say, ‘Material Girl’?  I am one. — The enD "That’s top secret, ma’am.  I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you."

Well, next time I hear this I’ll listen for this.  My reaction to this, especially during the first minute of the song, was ‘boy, that sounds a lot like the Tragically Hip’.  Later on it sounds much more like Garrett and the Oils normally do. ——-                                             Murph                                             Michael A. Well I don’t know about a new album, but they have two songs on the new "Sliver" soundtrack, "Carly’s Song" and "Carly’s Loneliness".  Could one of these songs be the one you heard? Brian.
